Funding for Women entrepreneurs in BC
Gives small businesses loans up to $50,000 to start, grow, or maintain their operations. It's designed to support various business needs.
Provides term loans up to $50,000 for eligible business expenses, with terms up to 5 years and interest at Prime + 4%. No penalty for early repayment; maximum 1% or $500 administration fee. Applicants also receive free wrap-around supports including advisory services, training, and mentoring from WeBC. Eligible expenses are broad, covering capital assets, office/equipment rental, salaries/benefits (excluding owner’s salary), IT/software, professional services, inventory/supplies, intellectual property, working capital, digital development, marketing, employee training, short-term receivable financing, and business start-up costs.
