Canada Grant Trends

A community view of what grant-seekers across Canada are searching for right now — ranked by real, anonymized activity on the database. We're mapping the living landscape of grant search in Canada, updated weekly.

🌱 Why we created this

Canada's funding landscape is scattered — hundreds of federal, provincial, and municipal programs spread across countless websites, portals, and PDFs. It's hard for anyone to see the bigger picture.

And there's never really been a community voice for what grant-seekers are actually looking for. Funders publish programs; nobody surfaces the demand side — what people search, save, and return to.

Grant Trends is our attempt to capture that. By aggregating real, anonymized activity across the database, we're building a transparent, public picture of where grant interest is concentrating across Canada — and, over time, an annual Canada Grant Trends report on how it shifts year to year.

What's trending now

🔥Most Viewed This Week

📈Most Viewed This Month

🔖Most Saved

🏷️Trending Categories

📍Trending by Province

Where grant interest is concentrating.

💡Why this matters

Grant search is usually a lonely, one-program-at-a-time slog. Seeing what peers are actually pursuing helps you discover programs you'd otherwise miss — and spot momentum early.

🧭What this represents

Aggregated, anonymized reader activity — page views and saves — across rolling windows. We show relative momentum and ranking, not raw counts or personal data.

🛠️How to use it

Scan trending categories and provinces to find active funding areas, check Most Saved for high-intent programs, and use the movement badges to catch what's climbing.

Methodology & citation

Rankings reflect aggregated, anonymized page views and saved-program activity on Canada Grants Database. Figures are shown as relative ranking and momentum (climbing, steady) rather than absolute counts. View data refreshes weekly; month-over-month momentum is captured from monthly snapshots. No personally identifiable information is used or shown.
