  • Premium features for subscribed users

3. Data Source Disclaimer

Important: The program information displayed on our Service is sourced from publicly available Government of Canada databases. While we strive to keep this information accurate and up-to-date, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any program information. Always verify program details directly with the relevant government department or agency before applying.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Eligibility scores, program categorizations, and personalized recommendations are generated using artificial intelligence. These AI-generated insights are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any business decisions. AI assessments may contain errors or inaccuracies. We strongly recommend consulting with qualified professionals and verifying eligibility directly with program administrators.

5. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update your information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

6.1 Free and Premium Tiers

We offer a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription tier with enhanced capabilities. Current pricing is $35 USD per month for premium access.

6.2 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increases, and changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding government program data), is owned by Canada Grants Database and protected by intellectual property laws.

Government program information displayed on our platform is sourced from publicly available Government of Canada resources and is subject to the Government of Canada's terms of use.

You retain ownership of any data you provide to us (such as your business profile information). By providing this data, you grant us a license to use it to provide and improve our services.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANADA GRANTS DATABASE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canada Grants Database and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination
