Funding to complete final-stage business and project planning, including operational and technical assessments, covering up to 50% of total eligible project costs.

Other Criteria: for-profit organization, registered to do business in B.C., operate in the manufacturing sector (create products using industrial or mass production processes), have established operations, have an established employee base, be in a viable financial position (e.g., not in foreclosure or for sale, business plan and financial records showing growth, profits, and/or ability to pay off short-term debts), project must be located in B.C., project contributes to long-term regional economic growth, sustainability and/or diversity, project is financially viable and leverages market demand, project creates, maintains or diversifies job opportunities for local workers, project has a high degree of readiness, project brings direct benefits to communities, project demonstrates alignment with program goals (e.g., invest in high-value/high-growth manufacturing, clean/inclusive growth, innovation/sustainability in forestry, job creation, productivity, supply chain strength), funding for final-stage business and project planning, including operational and technical assessments
