Funding for artificial intelligence in British Columbia
Helps not-for-profit organizations pay for projects that bring new AI technologies to market. Covers up to half the costs, up to $5 million per project over three years.
Interest-free repayable contributions for incorporated businesses ($500,000 to $3 million per project) and non-repayable contributions for not-for-profit organizations ($500,000 to $5 million per project). Minimum funding for Indigenous organizations is $200,000. All funding is up to 50% of eligible project costs. A lifetime maximum of $10 million per recipient applies. Funds support commercializing or adopting AI solutions in B.C., and not-for-profit organizations supporting AI ecosystem development in B.C.
