Also includes free business advising, hands-on training, and networking events for women+ entrepreneurs.

Business Size: startup, small, medium

Industries: green business, sustainable business

Region: Manitoba

Demographics: women-owned, self-identifying women+ (cis, trans, 2S, gender-diverse)

Other Criteria: 51% or more owned by self-identifying women+, Legal entity, Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, or a legal entity owned and controlled by the same, Operating or about to operate in Manitoba, Must submit a complete business plan (approved by a WeMB Business Advisor), Demonstrate potential for commercial viability and loan repayment capacity, Demonstrate a reasonable personal history of credit-worthiness and stability, In good standing with WeMB if there was pre-existing financing, For Expansion Loan: Minimum of three years of profitable operation (verified by professional financial statements), one year of projected monthly cash flow and profit/loss statements
