Grants for economic development in southwestern Ontario
Helps businesses in southwestern Ontario pay for projects that create jobs and boost the local economy. Covers half the project costs, up to $1.5 million.
Grants covering up to 50% of eligible project costs (to a maximum of $1.5 million) and complementary advisory services to support community economic development projects focused on regional growth and job creation.

Other Criteria: Open to municipalities, economic development organizations, Indigenous communities, incorporated non-governmental organizations (with an economic development mandate), industry/sector associations, and consortia of businesses led by at least one not-for-profit organization., Projects must focus on economic and business development and job creation in the community or region., Projects must lead to measurable outcomes including private sector investment, growth and job creation., Minimum project investment of $100,000 (over a 2-4 year period)., Requires private sector support., Activities must be new to the organization., Applicant organization (or a consortium partner) must have a minimum of 3 years of operations supported by externally reviewed financial statements.
