Funding to expand your operations to Northern Ontario
Funding in the form of a conditional contribution or a combination of a conditional contribution and term loan for businesses locating new operations in Northern Ontario. Combined Federal and Provincial funding may not exceed 50% of eligible project costs.

Other Criteria: Businesses locating new business operations to Northern Ontario, Applicant must secure balance of funding/financing necessary to implement the project, Project must not unreasonably impact existing Northern Ontario businesses, Applicants are required to have a pre-application consultation session with NOHFC staff prior to applying, Projects should contribute to job creation, significant investment, and net economic benefits for Northern Ontario, For tourism businesses, operations must be for extended stays (e.g., remote outfitter, family vacation resort), not solely overnight accommodation.
