Other Criteria: incorporated businesses (SMEs) or incorporated non-profit organizations, registered to do business in Canada or Ontario, businesses must have at least 5 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, businesses must have at least 3 years of business operations (demonstrated by financial statements), businesses and non-profits must demonstrate a clear connection to building more homes faster in southern Ontario, projects must be supported by a formal commitment letter from at least one Canadian end-user/buyer of the homebuilding solution (for businesses), non-profit organizations must have a track record of providing services to multiple businesses in southern Ontario, projects must focus on innovative homebuilding solutions that increase productivity/output in manufacturing/construction technology, promote innovation/commercialization of new materials/methods, or support development of industry tools for off-site manufacturing, priority for projects that green the homebuilding sector through sustainable methods, technologies, and materials, projects must align with the federal government's housing plan (Solving the Housing Crisis: Canada's Housing Plan), applicants and projects must comply with the Lobbying Act, Impact Assessment Act 2019, and the duty to consult with Indigenous Groups, projects cannot begin prior to December 20, 2024
