Provides financial support for internships, enabling current students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in automotive and smart mobility R&D, while strengthening companies' innovation capacity by tapping into world-class talent.

Other Criteria: Interns must be current college or university students (undergraduate in final year, or current Masters/PhD) registered at an accredited post-secondary institution in Ontario, Interns can be recent graduates (undergraduate or Masters, within three years of graduation) from an accredited post-secondary institution in Ontario, Applicant is an eligible Ontario-based company (for company-based internship), Applicant is a principal investigator from an Ontario-based post-secondary institution (for institution-based internship, with an eligible Ontario-based company partner), Project must be industry-driven R&D with clearly defined activities, milestones, and outcomes related to automotive and smart mobility technology, Interns must spend a significant portion of their time on-site or in the field with the company
