Grant funding provided to Indigenous communities and organizations to deliver group-training projects, assisting unemployed or under-employed Indigenous individuals to gain skills and work experience for long-term employment.

Other Criteria: Applicant must be an Indigenous organization (including First Nations on or off reserve, Tribal or regional organizations, MΓ©tis on or off Settlements, MΓ©tis representative groups) or an Indigenous employer., Projects must be group-training initiatives designed in partnership with employers and other partners., Projects must include formal training (e.g., occupational training) based on participant and industry needs., Training participants must be unemployed or under-employed Indigenous individuals who need and can benefit from skills training to obtain and maintain employment.
