Point-of-sale incentives for Canadian organizations and businesses to purchase or lease new eligible medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles (MHZEVs). Incentive amounts vary by vehicle class, fuel type (PHEVs receive reduced incentives), and lease term, up to $200,000 per vehicle. Organizations can receive a maximum of $1,000,000 or 10 incentives per calendar year.

Other Criteria: Canadian organizations, businesses, Indigenous communities, not-for-profit organizations, or provincial/territorial/municipal governments with an office registered in Canada, Purchasing or leasing a new medium- or heavy-duty zero-emission vehicle (Battery-electric, Plug-in hybrid electric, Hydrogen fuel cell), Vehicle has a gross weight rating greater than 8,500 lbs, Vehicle meets all of Canada's Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, Vehicle is available for order/purchase/lease in Canada, Vehicle is intended for use on public streets, roads, highways, or other paved surfaces, Vehicle is registered in Canada in the eligible recipient organization’s name, For Class 2B and 3 vehicles: must be a commercial vehicle (seating capacity of 9+ passengers, OR cargo area length of 183 cm+, OR truck with container attachment capabilities) OR a medium-duty passenger vehicle (MDPV) with an MSRP equal to or below $100,000, Only new MHZEVs are eligible (demonstrator vehicles are considered new if odometer reads less than 10,000 km), Lease term must be 12 months or more, Vehicle model and configuration appear on the official list of eligible vehicles, Vehicles manufactured in countries without a free-trade agreement with Canada are only eligible until October 1, 2024 (unless already in Canada or in transit before that date), Eligible organizations can receive up to 10 incentives or a maximum of $1,000,000 per calendar year (whichever comes first), Purchase or lease must be made from a licensed dealer or authorized seller enrolled with Transport Canada
