Other Criteria: First Nations governments, communities, or organizations (including tribal/band councils, Modern Treaty and Self-Governing First Nations), First Nations-owned businesses and corporations, First Nations not-for-profit organizations, Projects must be Indigenous-owned and led, Projects must advance Indigenous climate leadership, Projects must support self-determined climate, social, and economic priorities of Indigenous peoples, Projects must incorporate renewable energy, energy efficiency, or low-carbon heating technologies/practices, Projects must offer broader environmental, social, and economic benefits, Projects must use proven technologies and practices (Technology Readiness Level Scale 8 or above), Projects must be past the concept stage and ready for deployment or construction, Project planning and pre-feasibility activities must be completed, Other funding must be secured or close to being secured, Partnership agreements, impact or environmental assessments, permitting requirements, and power purchase agreements must be finalized or near finalization, Proposals with non-First Nation partners must provide transparent and comprehensive information on ownership and governance structure, including decision-making processes
