What Is This Program?

Get a repayable, interest-free loan up to $300,000 or 50% of the cost to start a new business, purchase an existing business, or upgrade your existing business. The intent is to provide for the creation of wealth and jobs for First Nations.

What Benefits Are Offered?

Non-repayable funding covering up to 75% of the costs, to a maximum of $20,000, to hire a professional consultant for the research and development of a quality business plan. This funding is intended to help attract further financing for the business concept. Applicants are expected to pay the first 25% of the costs.

Region: Manitoba

Demographics: Indigenous (First Nation members)

Other Criteria: applicant must be a member of a First Nation, headquarter location in Manitoba, aged 18 and over, eligible to work in Canada, have a business concept that provides excellent opportunity but demonstrates a need for financial assistance to develop a professional business plan, must engage the services of a professional consultant to assist in the research and development of a business plan
