Funds for Alberta farmers to adopt innovative technology
Financial incentives (grants) to adopt innovative and proven technologies demonstrated in Alberta. The program has two streams: the Farm Technology stream offers up to $48,000 for innovations like digital sensors, electronic livestock ID tags, and internet boosters to minimize waste and optimize efficiency. The Farm Security stream offers up to $2,000 for investments in farm security best management practices, such as GPS equipment trackers and remote monitoring cameras. Eligible expenses are cost-shared at 50% grant and 50% applicant contribution.
