📌Additional Criteria

• Not-for-profit organizations
• For-profit organizations with up to 99 full-time equivalent employees
• Indigenous organizations
• Municipal governments
• Territorial governments
• Organizations that provide transitional, temporary or emergency housing
• Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) centres (must be licensed/regulated, Indigenous ELCCs exempt from licensing requirement)
• ELCCs on public school property must exclusively serve the child care centre/program
• Project activities must enable access for multiple persons with disabilities (not a single user)
• Project activities must enable persons with disabilities to maintain or gain employment (accessibility features must be transferrable)
• Projects must be ready to start as early as Fall 2024 and completed within 2 years
• Applicant must be the building owner or have a lease and written approval from the owner
• One application per Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Business Number only
• Leveraging requirement: 0% for exempt organizations (Territories, Indigenous organizations, rural/remote organizations, shelters, food banks, clothing charities), 25% cash leveraging for all other eligible organizations
