Business support services in N.W.T.
Provides funding and support to NWT entrepreneurs and small businesses for various activities including: new business development, existing business expansion, startup costs, capital asset acquisition (specific to Level 2 communities), marketing for tourism/arts/crafts/renewable resources, operational support, business skills and capacity building, problem identification, recovery/restructuring plans, and film support. Economic Development Officers (EDOs) offer advice, assistance, mentoring, and facilitate access to specialists and business networks.
