Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage
Covers two-thirds of accessibility improvements to buildings, transportation, communications, assistive devices and services. Registered non-profits (community halls, Legions, churches, daycares, shelters, recreation facilities), municipalities, First Nations and public institutions can apply. Up to 2/3 of costs to $50,000; applicant covers 34% (cash or in-kind). Required Expression of Interest Oct 1 to Nov 30, 2026; full application Dec 1, 2026 to Feb 14, 2027. The program page still shows the previous Feb 14, 2026 deadline. Next intake: EOI forms are accepted from October 1 to November 30, 2026.
