Funds sport and play programs for young people: an Access stream that reduces barriers to affordable sport for kids up to 18, and a Youth Development stream that uses sport to build life, leadership and employment skills for youth up to 29. Charities, non-profits, amateur athletic associations, municipalities, Indigenous governments and schools can apply. Access stream up to $25,000; Youth Development stream up to $75,000. This intake is for programs starting Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2027; next intake opens March 10, 2027 (closes April 7, 2027).
Helps community organizations in Canada pay for projects that improve local spaces and support community development. Covers various costs related to these projects.
Funding for programs that help children and youth participate in affordable sport and play, reducing barriers and increasing opportunities. Supports program delivery and initiatives focusing on fun, social connection, skill development, belonging, and overall well-being. Also supports programs using sport to develop life, leadership, and employment-related skills.
