Funding for agriculture and agri-food industry support organizations
Non-repayable and repayable contributions for projects aimed at developing new ideas, products, niches, or market opportunities, responding to emerging issues, and finding solutions for the Canadian agricultural sector. AAFC normally contributes a maximum of 50% of eligible costs (up to $1 million per project), with potential for higher contributions (up to 75% or more) for high-priority projects or public safety concerns. A total maximum of $5 million over 5 years per applicant applies.
