Funding for pre-commercial agriculture and agri-food science
Funding and support for pre-commercial science and research activities in the agriculture and agri-food sector. Support is provided through non-repayable contributions and/or collaborative research with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) scientists. The maximum funding for a single project is $5 million, with a maximum total funding of $10 million available to an applicant over the program's duration. Cost-sharing varies, with up to 70% AAFC contribution for not-for-profit organizations on specific environmental activities, and increased ratios for Indigenous applicants.
