Funding to improve diversity in the agriculture and agri-food sector
Helps not-for-profit organizations support under-represented groups in agriculture. Provides up to $1 million over 5 years for projects that promote entrepreneurship and leadership.
Non-repayable contributions and capacity building support for projects that help Indigenous Peoples and other underrepresented/marginalized groups fully participate in the Canadian agriculture and agri-food sector. Funding has an annual cap of $200,000 and requires a maximum 70% AAFC contribution (minimum 30% from applicant).
