Funding for tile drainage in Northern Ontario
Helps not-for-profit and community organizations in Northern Ontario pay for projects to install tile drainage for local farmers. Supports the development and management of these projects.
Conditional contribution funding to cover tile drainage contractor costs (materials and labour) and project management/administration fees for consortium service providers. Funding for individual farmers is based on per acre tiled. Repayment may be required if a farmer ceases farming or sells tiled land within five years of completion.

Other Criteria: not-for-profit organizations, agricultural organizations, community organizations, acting as a consortium service provider for producers, administering a project to install tile drainage within a specific region, farmer consortium members must be 'shovel-ready', farmer consortium members must have a Farm Business Registration (or written confirmation of exemption from Agricorp), farmer consortium members must have at least a five-year written lease agreement for the tiled property (if not owned), installation must be completed by a contractor licensed for tile drainage installation, contractor design must comply with the Drainage Guide for Ontario
