Funding for agriculture and agri-food health and safety systems
Gives not-for-profit organizations up to $1 million over five years to help improve health and safety standards for Canadian agricultural products. Supports the development and use of systems and tools for these claims.
Funding for national industry associations to develop or improve sector-specific assurance systems, manage risks, ensure product safety and quality, and support exports for Canadian agriculture and agri-food products. Contributions up to $1 million per year with a maximum 75% cost-share, requiring a minimum 25% applicant contribution (cash or in-kind).
