What Is This Program?

Get up to $5 million/year to hire youth for a project that takes place in 3 or more provinces or territories and provides them with skills and knowledge to participate in the labour market.

What Benefits Are Offered?

Funding for projects aimed at supporting youth employment activities and increasing capacity across the youth service provider network.

Who Is Eligible?

Region: Canada

Other Criteria: Not-for-profit organizations, Indigenous organizations, For-profit organizations (with exceptions), Municipal, provincial, and territorial entities (including institutions, agencies, Crown corporations, public health, educational and cultural institutions), Projects must support young Canadians aged 15 to 30, especially those facing multiple barriers to employment (Indigenous youth, Black and other racialized youth, 2SLGBTQI+ youth, youth with disabilities, youth who are early leavers from high school, youth living in low income households, youth experiencing houselessness or precarious housing, youth living in rural, remote, Northern or fly-in communities)
