The Strong Neighbourhoods program supports small-scale, resident-led activities that build social connections, enhance neighbourhoods through placemaking projects, and encourage neighbours to share their skills and talents with one another. The program offers two types of grants to help residents strengthen their communities and relationships: the Neighbourhood Grant and the Youth Development & Engagement Grant. The Neighbourhood Grant is generously funded by the Central Okanagan Foundation.
Financial grants and support services from the City of Kelowna's Active Living & Culture Division, specifically for initiatives that build strong neighbourhoods and support community well-being through active living, culture, sport, events, and social sustainability.
