This SODEC program aims to enhance the production value of French-language television series to increase their commercial potential outside Quebec. It targets fiction, documentary, and animated television series for young people, and variety programs highlighting Quebec's cultural content. Funding can cover 50% of expenses (up to $500,000) for projects based on original scripts, or 75% (up to $750,000) for projects adapting a Quebec literary work or showcasing existing Quebec musical works.
ELAN's Quebec Relations project provides provincial funding assistance, a searchable platform for over 190 grant programs, free one-on-one funding consultations, grant-writing assistance, and capacity building webinars and workshops specifically for English-speaking artists and organizations in Quebec.
