This SODEC program is open to Quebec audiovisual production companies working with emerging creators (producers, directors, and scriptwriters) who have not yet accessed regular financing channels. It supports short and feature-length fiction projects, as well as short, medium, and feature-length documentaries. Financial aid can be up to $115,000 for short fiction or documentaries, $138,000 for medium- or feature-length documentaries, and $750,000 for feature-length fiction (overall budget cannot exceed $1.5 million).
