What Benefits Are Offered?

Government financial assistance (rebate) for the acquisition of an eligible used electric or hydrogen-powered vehicle. The amount of financial assistance for a used fully electric vehicle is $2,000 for vehicles registered in 2025, and is gradually decreasing each year.

Who Is Eligible?

Region: Québec

Other Criteria: For individuals, companies, organizations, and municipalities in Québec, Purchase of an eligible used fully electric vehicle or hydrogen-powered vehicle, Vehicle must be between one and four years old in relation to its model year (for vehicles registered since April 18, 2023), For vehicles registered between January 1, 2020, and April 18, 2023, vehicle must be between three and four years old (model year), Used all-electric vehicle battery capacity must be 8 kWh or more, Equivalent new vehicle's Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) must be less than $65,000, Purchase must be made from a Québec car dealer
