Funds for local SMEs in defence supply chains
Helps Prairie businesses, especially small and medium-sized ones, get money to join defence supply chains and boost innovation. Covers up to 75% of project costs, requiring at least 25% from other sources.
Repayable contributions for eligible businesses (up to 75% of project costs) and non-repayable contributions for eligible not-for-profit organizations (up to 90% of project costs) and Indigenous applicants (up to 100% of project costs). The funding aims to accelerate the integration of Prairie businesses and regional ecosystems into defence supply chains, increase industrial and innovation capacity, and bolster economic development, particularly for projects meeting military needs and aligning with defence priority areas.
