FACTOR's Juried Sound Recording contributions provide funding for both full-length albums and singles/EPs. This program supports various activities that enhance the artistic and commercial potential of Canadian music.
Provides non-repayable funding for artists and record labels to cover production costs of new sound recordings (singles, EPs, or full-length albums). For the Single/EP sub-program, it covers 50% of eligible expenses up to $25,000. For the Album sub-program, it also contributes to the marketing and promotion of the recording, including Tour Support, Video, Showcase, and Radio Marketing components.
