Funding to grow your business in Northern Ontario
Funding for projects aimed at growing existing business operations, including building construction, upgrading leased spaces, buying new or used equipment, land development, IT and communications investments, marketing new products/businesses (up to 20% or $75,000), and third-party training costs (up to 20% of project costs).
Industries: general businesses, manufacturing, professional services (conditional), destination-based tourism
Region: Northern Ontario (north of, and including, Parry Sound and Nipissing districts)
Other Criteria: Businesses growing their existing business operations, Business owners must work at their business on a full-time basis, For professional service businesses: new business starting operations in a small community with no existing full-time service provider or no reasonable access to those services in an adjacent urban centre, and the proposal must demonstrate how the additional service offering will improve quality of life.
