Other partners can include Crown corporations, public agencies, municipalities, or companies outside Québec., **For INNOV-R SME stream:** Main applicant must be a Québec SME (less than 250 employees) carrying out internal production or R&D activities. Projects must be carried out in collaboration with another Québec company or an eligible recipient environment. Partners can include large Québec companies, public organizations, public research institutions, or companies outside Québec., Projects must demonstrate a strong potential to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Québec, specifically at least 100,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent reduced or avoided during the first 10 years after product/technology/innovation commercialization., Projects must relate to the development of a new product/process or the significant improvement of an existing one., Projects must be innovative, involve technological uncertainties, and have R&D steps to complete (for general INNOV-R) or involve a necessary level of innovation and technological/business risk for the SME (for INNOV-R SME)., Projects must demonstrate commercial potential or significant deployment potential (for INNOV-R SME)., Projects must not have been previously funded by another funding program., Financial assistance for projects cannot be combined with other financial assistance from the CECF, Investissement Québec, or the MEIE.
