Get a grant of up to $80,000, paid directly to the research institute, to cover 80% of the costs of R&D services such as applied research, proof of concept and prototyping, product testing and demos, and more.

Non-repayable innovation vouchers, paid directly to collaborating research organizations, to cover eligible R&D services (e.g., applied research, prototyping, product testing). The program also matches companies with scientific talent and facilities to develop and commercialize new innovations. NBIF funds 80% of project costs up to $80,000 for the first two vouchers (for projects from $10,000 to $100,000), and up to 50% of costs to a maximum of $50,000 for additional vouchers.
