Helps businesses hire recent master's or PhD graduates for innovation jobs. Covers up to 30% of the first year's salary and 15% of the second year's salary.
Wage subsidy for hiring recent Masters or PhD graduates into innovation-focused roles. Employers receive 30% of the first year's salary and 15% of the second year's salary. An additional 10% subsidy is provided in year 1 if the employer hires a graduate from an under-represented group (Mi'kmaq/Indigenous, African Nova Scotian, visible minority, person with a disability, 2SLGBTQIA+ community member, woman in an under-represented occupation, or international student). The program aims to build a stronger workforce and retain young people in Nova Scotia.
