Other Criteria: Established and operating in Canada, Physical establishment or site open to the public, or providing programming to the public in various locations or via a website, Registered charities, Federally or provincially incorporated not-for-profits, Indigenous nations, groups or organizations that operate similarly to a not-for-profit and support Indigenous heritage and culture, Municipal, provincial or band heritage organizations, University-affiliated organizations, Operate independently, at arms-length, with clear mandate, staff, and governance structure, In existence for at least 1 year with current legal status at time of proposal submission, May submit only one proposal per call (either Digital Projects or Community Stories stream), Previously funded DMC projects must be completed prior to current call deadline, Project must be a new online product, conceived from the ground up with a distinct user experience, developed with a web development agency, Project must be presented in both English and French (other languages optional), Project must meet digital accessibility standards (WCAG AA level or higher), Project must be accessible through a web browser, at no cost, without specialized equipment (e.g., AR headsets), Project must be hosted by the organization at a dedicated URL and based on autonomous web architecture and data repository
