Creative Saskatchewan offers financial support through various grant programs to enhance the commercial success and market access for Saskatchewan's creative industries and producers. This includes project funding for film/TV production and development, music tour support, business improvement, industry sponsorship, book publishing, live performing arts, digital game development, craft/visual arts, showcase/travel, and marketing. Operational funding is also available for select industry associations, eligible cultural organizations, and arts organizations operations. Unincorporated groups (for Small Grant Accessibility) must have a Canadian bank account in the organization’s name., Applicant is a professional artist: created recognized work over time, work presented to an audience in a typical manner for art tradition, developed skills acceptable for art tradition, recognized as a peer by other professionals in the same tradition, received compensation consistent with other professionals, project is primarily artistic in nature., Film & TV projects: Production and development of feature films and television series with a market trigger in place., Live Performing Arts projects: Ready to be staged for a paying audience to expand commercial potential., Digital Game Development projects: Create digital games and gamified e-learning projects with commercial potential., Craft & Visual Arts projects: Producing craft and visual art with commercial intent., Music Tour Support projects: Commercially viable touring opportunities for Saskatchewan musicians touring in Canada and abroad., Showcase or Sell Travel projects: To attend markets, industry showcases and pitch events., Marketing projects: To improve visibility and generate sales.
