Funding for incremental improvements, repairs, renovations, implementation of priority economic development initiatives, business retention and attraction strategies, investment opportunities, construction/renovation of capital assets that support community economic development, and other community economic development projects (including non-capital costs, technical expertise, and incremental project-related human resources).

Other Criteria: Municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, Local Services Boards, Projects must align with NOHFC’s strategic initiatives, Projects must address an economic priority in a region or sector, Applicants must demonstrate technical, managerial, and financial ability to complete and sustain the project, Applicants must demonstrate that NOHFC funding is necessary and show investigation/application to other funding sources
