Financial assistance, including continued EI benefits or a weekly allowance at a provincially established rate, for unemployed Atlantic Canadians starting a business. The program also provides comprehensive support such as counselling, technical advice, entrepreneurial support, and training. CBDCs, as program deliverers, also offer financial assistance in the form of loans, loan guarantees, and equity financing to entrepreneurs.
