Repayable financial assistance, including demand or term loans, loan guarantees, or equity investments, available for 1 to 10 years and typically secured. Funds can be used for start-up, purchasing or expanding a business, land, buildings, fixed assets, machinery, equipment, furniture, business vehicles, franchise purchases, or leasehold improvements. Loans are typically up to $150,000, but can exceed this in certain circumstances. Also includes business counselling and technical services.
