Wage subsidies for precision metalworking in Ontario
Non-repayable contributions to eligible employers to subsidize the wages of new hires or existing employees participating in experiential work placements. Provides funding up to $5,000 per placement for up to 4 candidates, along with support in candidate matching and program monitoring.
Industries: machining, tool & die making, mould making, jig & fixture building, automation/robotics, additive manufacturing, precision metalworking sector

Other Criteria: Employer must have a candidate before applying, Employer must have identified a job title with a corresponding job description, Employer must agree to follow or develop industry-specific Technical Learning Outcomes (TLOs), Employer must permit monitoring visits during the work placements, Employer must pay each candidate an hourly rate (at least minimum wage)
