Funding for book publisher business planning
Financial assistance to Canadian publishing firms for internship projects (publishing and technology) and business planning projects. Aims to offset publishing costs, build capacity, and enhance competitiveness in the Canadian book industry. Funding covers up to 50% of eligible expenses (75% for priority groups) with varying maximums per project type: up to $25,000-$37,500 for publishing internships, $30,000-$45,000 for technology internships, and up to $50,000 for business planning projects. Support also prioritizes projects focused on inclusion, diversity, equity, accessible publishing, and innovative technology strategies.
