The Brampton Artist in Residence Program, a partnership between the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) and the Brampton Library (BL), offers local professional artists, collectives, and arts & culture organizations funding of $8,000 and free workspace at a Brampton Library to undertake a community-focused artist residency. The residency encourages community engagement in creative experiences and exploration of Brampton's arts and culture scene.
Provides an $8,000 honorarium and free dedicated workspace at Brampton Library’s South Fletcher’s Branch. The residency involves community-engaged artistic research, creation, and presentation, including public programming and office hours, engaging with the library and its surrounding neighbourhood. Up to an additional $2,000 is available for accessibility costs.
