Other Criteria: non-profit organizations registered (and in good standing) under specific Alberta Acts (Agriculture Societies Act, Business Corporations Act Part 21, Companies Act Part 9, Libraries Act, Societies Act, MΓ©tis Settlements Act, Special Act of Alberta Legislature) or Federal Acts (Income Tax Act Charity status, Indian Act, Special Act of Parliament of Canada), University, college, or institute as defined under Albertaβs Post-Secondary Learning Act, Alberta-based address, regularly monitored by an active member of the organization, must host online or in-person events during September annually, all events and activities must be family-friendly and free to attend, must provide arts and culture-focused programming, events must engage public participation and inspire future involvement, must provide all required documentation, including a detailed budget and marketing plan, Feature Sites must host at least 3 event days during September, Host Sites must host at least 2 event days during September, Pop Up Sites must host at least 1 event day during September, Feature Celebration Sites can only receive funding once every 2 years
