Provides interest-free, unsecured repayable funding for up to 50% of the capital needed for business launch or expansion. Also offers interest-free contributions covering up to 75% of costs for specific business growth activities such as staff training, efficiency studies, marketing/trade, productivity improvements, quality assurance, and environmental management systems. Non-profit organizations can receive support (contributions) to help Atlantic Canadian SMEs with business counselling, training, specialized services, networking opportunities, research and development, and technology transfer.
