Funding covers up to 75% of eligible training costs, with a maximum of $3,000 CAD over two fiscal years for individuals, or $5,000 CAD per fiscal year for groups/organizations. Eligible expenses also include accommodation (max $200 CAD/night), airfare/bus fare (cannot exceed tuition cost covered by YTTF), taxis/shuttles (max $200), mileage ($.60/km, limited), equipment rental, and per diem ($75/day).

Other Criteria: Applicants (individuals or group participants) must be legally entitled to work in Canada., Training courses must not have started at the time of application submission and must be completed by March 31, 2026 (for the February 2026 intake)., Applicants are responsible for contacting course providers and securing an available spot before applying., For individual applicants: must be a Yukon Resident OR an individual residing in Canada seeking to start, return to, or advance a career in Yukon's tourism sector., For group applicants (organizations): must operate in the Yukon., Individual applicants must be a seasonal or year-round tourism worker., Not applicable to permanent government employees., Specific criteria apply for different applicant streams: Local High School Students (currently enrolled in a Yukon secondary school), Post-Secondary Students & Recent Graduates (studying/graduated from Canadian tourism/hospitality program, seeking Yukon employment within 6 months, valid Canadian working status for 12 months), Job Seekers & Tourism Professionals (seeking Yukon employment within 3 months, valid Canadian working status for 12 months).
