The Visual Arts Projects program supports not-for-profit arts organizations, ad hoc groups, collectives, and independent curators to research, present, or document the work of professional Ontario visual artists and connect them with Ontario audiences. Projects may include exhibitions, festivals, catalogues/publications, curatorial research, and residency programs, with grants up to a maximum of $15,000.

Other Criteria: Not-for-profit arts organizations, Ad hoc groups and collectives made up of visual artists or arts professionals (50% members residing in Ontario), Independent Ontario-based curators (not employed full-time in a public gallery or artist-run centre), Other not-for-profit arts organizations presenting visual arts projects, Galleries within a multi-purpose institution must have their own board of directors or advisory body, Non-visual arts organizations must show appropriate visual arts professionals involved, Projects must include the payment of professional artist fees, Projects must include Ontario artists (non-Ontario artists may be included, but projects without any Ontario artists are not eligible), Projects outside Ontario are eligible if they include a component presented within the province for Ontario audiences, Priority consideration given to projects involving: Artists of Colour, Deaf Artists and Artists with Disabilities, Francophone Artists, Indigenous Artists, New Generation Artists (18-30 year olds), Artists Living in Regions Outside Toronto
