A one-time payment of direct financial assistance for B.C. tree fruit growers to strengthen operations, enhance long-term resilience and sustainability. The total fund is $10 million. Funds can be used for farm improvements, equipment, tools, debt repayment, wages (seasonal labour, permanent staff support), farm infrastructure, and staff training and education.

Business Size: small, medium

Industries: agriculture, tree fruit production

Region: British Columbia

Other Criteria: Existing tree fruit producers, Primary purpose is the production and sale of harvested tree fruit, Farming at least 2.47 eligible acres of tree fruits, Minimum planting density of 100 trees per acre, Owned or leased tree fruit production land as of November 30, 2024 within British Columbia, Main farmstead in British Columbia, Filed farm income tax for the tax year 2023 (form T2042 or T1273) under the Income Tax Act in B.C., Payments limited to a maximum of 70 eligible acres (28.3 hectares)
