Helps Canadian innovators pay for costs related to signing research and development agreements with international partners. Covers up to $75,000.
Provides non-repayable grants covering up to 75% of eligible costs (to a maximum of $75,000 per project) for activities aimed at pursuing and formalizing new collaborative research and development (R&D) agreements with international partners. This includes support for technology development, adaptation, or validation, covering activities such as international travel for meetings, virtual meetings, participation in virtual events, shipping technology for demonstration, applying for international IP protection and certifications, and obtaining expert legal and business advice. The program also offers advisory support through the Trade Commissioner Service.
