Funding for partnership development activities (PDA)
Financial support (up to 50% of eligible costs) for Canadian SMEs to participate in international Partnership Development Activities (PDAs) with foreign partners. This typically covers economy airfare, accommodation, meals, and event fees. The program also provides funding for larger co-innovation R&D projects (up to $600,000) aimed at commercialization.

Other Criteria: incorporated, profit-oriented, up to 500 full-time equivalent employees, ready to collaborate on an R&D project with a foreign partner, seeking to commercialize new or improved products, services, or processes, own or co-own the intellectual property of the technology that will be commercialized, sufficient resources to support their portion of the cost of attending PDAs and any resulting R&D project, for co-innovation projects: sufficient resources to support a multi-year project, for co-innovation projects: world-class, distinguishable, and protectable technology (may already be commercialized in Canada), for co-innovation projects: projects must be nearing commercialization
